About Same Menu

Same Menu is about making sure everyone feels welcome at the table.
Whether it’s at home, in a restaurant, or in a care setting, we believe meals should bring people together and not leave anyone out. Dysphagia can make that hard, but with the right options and a little creativity, shared meals can still be joyful, safe, and full of connection.

Feeding the whole you isn’t always easy, especially when eating becomes complicated. This space is here to offer softer textures, simpler prep, and real support.

You deserve food that works for your body and your life.

Whatever brings you here, you’re welcome. These recipes are designed with real life in mind: adaptable textures, low-spoons prep options, and ways to modify for your body’s needs on any given day.

Many of the people who land here are navigating some form of dysphagia, often while managing chronic illnesses — conditions like EDS, POTS, MCAS, or autoimmune issues. Others are caring for dental challenges, reflux, sensory sensitivities, fatigue, or just recovering from a rough patch.

Food can be a source of comfort and connection — even when eating feels hard. My hope is that you’ll find tools here that help bring that back, one gentle, nourishing meal at a time.

Meet Amy, SLP.

With over 20 years in combined experience in healthcare and restaurants, I created Same Menu to help bridge the gap between medical diets and real-life meals (the kind you actually want to eat). This project is my way of showing up for those currently absent from the table: with tools, textures, and thoughtful options that respect your needs without overcomplicating your plate.

I live in Southeastern Wisconsin with my husband and our dog. My hobbies outside of the kitchen include painting, cycling, and gardening.
